Review on HENCKELS Statement 20-pc Self-Sharpening Knife Set: Chef, Paring, Utility, Bread, Steak Knives, Dark Brown, Stainless Steel + by Nelly Villanueva

This set replaces another Henckles set that I have owned for 21 years. The old set probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't washed it in the dishwasher for the past 10 years. With three kids, you take shortcuts where you can get them. Well, I like Henckle's knives from before. This time it came first. In particular, my attention was drawn to the knife sharpening function. On the other hand, I don't like the sharp corners of paring knives near my hand when I'm cutting. I haven't cut myself yet, but it seems sharp enough that I want to be extra careful. If you have a small counter, look at the dimensions of this block. It fits perfectly in the corner of my L-shaped tabletop, but would take up more than half my workspace if I placed it elsewhere.
