HENCKELS Statement 20-pc Self-Sharpening Knife Set: Chef, Paring, Utility, Bread, Steak Knives, Dark Brown, Stainless Steel + Review

I returned my first order because the block was dented. The second came with a dent but not that noticeable so I left it. Two months later the block broke in half. The knives themselves are very good, but I can't rate them well without a decent last.

Knives are good. There is no lock. Mine broke 6 weeks after purchase. I contacted the seller who referred me to the manufacturer who said I was out of warranty. I am very disappointed with everything and cannot recommend this seller or the knives based on the service I received.

Don't know what I think of this. I like knives but they look like they've been used before. I will call Amazon to see if I can get a new set. The box was in disarray, sealed inside with tape but torn. Not at all happy about it. But the knives look great, they cut normally.

The block is a bit big but I love my knives! It's so nice to be able to pull out the blade to cut through the meat without damaging it. Cuts through meat like butter. Steak knives are very sharp, as are scissors. Every knife set I've bought in the past can't even compare to this one! I am very satisfied and would buy a set as a gift!

The block is horribly large, knives only go 2/3 to 1/2 of the way down the block but the block is still very long can't put it on my countertop because it sticks halfway through my countertop, we had to find another place to put the knives, we even thought of cutting about 4" off the back of the block one of the steak knives has a crack in the grip. Update: Turns out they get rusty spots if not dried right away. I have dollar store knives that don't rust.

We liked everything about this set. They can never beat a heckle knife, they are the best. Also, this set had a very handy selection of knives. I have battle sets and end up only using 2 or 3 because the rest are just useless. This set is absolutely perfect and we have bought and may buy another one as gifts. I would highly recommend this set to anyone. I know they are more expensive than others but trust me when I say these knives last forever and you would spend more money on cheaper sets…

These knives appear to be of good quality. The set does not contain a normal office knife. I received 2 bread knives and when I contacted the company they were unable to help me. This set replaces another Henckles set that I have owned for 21 years. The old set probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't washed it in the dishwasher for the past 10 years. With three kids, you take shortcuts where you can get them. Well, I like Henckle's knives from before. This time it came first. In particular, my attention was drawn to the knife sharpening function.
