Review on GrillPro 00030 Magnetic Gas Level Indicator: Effortlessly Monitor Your Propane Tank Levels by Keith Maynard

Revainrating 1 out of 5

But I tried. . . good for engines and engine parts

I cook a lot and running out of LPG while cooking is stressful. I had sensors once, but they got lost or lost their magnetism because they were out of the elements. I bought them in one of the big stores but nobody had anything like it. So I bought that. I read reviews and scolded people who couldn't follow directions. I apologize publicly to you all. First off, I buy LP cans from grocery stores and the cans I receive (and return) come with paper labels. These sensors are not liable. None of the reviewers mentioned this, and I take responsibility for not having thought everything through. So I tore off some paper, cleaned the area and tried to attach one of these sensors. It stays on, but hardly. If your tank's paintwork is more than a year old, it won't hold up very well. I knew the gauge only works when the tank is running, but I found out that the gauge only works when it's running AND if you put it in the right spot. After all, calculating the remaining gas, that is, reading the pressure gauge, is much more difficult than it should be. Summer like that, winter like that? Hm? What is that? I congratulate those of you who made it, and I also thank those of you who tried to warn me.

Pros
  • color range
Cons
  • big and bulky
