do not use wooden wicks. You just burn out no matter what you try. They have suggestions for a solution and I followed their suggestions and it didn't work. I am extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to lighting them. This was my first time making candles and I waited 2 weeks to light them (because they say 2 to 4 weeks is best). Ordinary wicks may work, but I've made all three candles with wooden wicks. EDIT: I managed to drill a hole in the center of the candle and put a cotton wick in it. Now it burns well.
