seem to be good quality but one fell apart with no stress

Pros: comes with a protective metal cap, well made, good price Cons: the threads also appear to have been built deep into the tube. With the power of the floor pump, the stem fell apart like an unwinding spring. This stem has never been ridden, has never been exposed to any other stress. I only pumped air to put in a new tire. See attached photo. I've fitted a different stem and it seems to be holding up well, but will be replacing it as soon as I can as I don't want to have a catastrophic failure while riding.
