Quality braces no regrets

1996 12V Cummins 2500 4x4 Let me start by saying you get what you pay for. I couldn't justify spending $200-$300 on an aftermarket strut setup, but I thought about it when I saw this unit at this price point. After reading the reviews it appears that the first iteration of this "copied" aftermarket stabilizer bar had a hole alignment issue. The one I received had absolutely no problems bolting and aligning with my truck. The holes are slotted to allow for slight misalignment so don't believe the bad reviews. To be honest the bearing and short shaft assembly are COPIES! THEY ARE FAKE QUALITY STOCK. This should be KNOWN when buying at this price. However, the brace itself is very strong and just right enough for the job to be done, no issues, which is perfect for what I set out to do. Because it is a replica of an already engineered installation, genuine aftermarket QUALITY components fit in place. crappy fakes included in the kit. I bought a BD Diesel "Service / Rebuild Kit" for their steering mount. It comes with all new hardware, 2 stub/sector shafts and a quality NSK bearing and housing assembly. Overall I am getting less than HALF the cost of aftermarket units if I go this route. Overall my steering has improved tremendously with my setup of this strut and the quality BD kit I have used in combination with this strut, even with a brand new steering box. This is an absolutely REQUIRED update for your Dodge steering issues!
