This stuff was a little trickier to install than vinyl for the body and smooth interior surfaces. If you have really curvy headlights, this might not be a good idea for a first-time install. You may be tempted to install dry. I gave it a try and then decided to do a wet install. The water between the lens and the film allows you to put it in place and then you can heat and stretch it by wiping away the water from under the film. Unlike the picture, this film is dark. When I installed this I had 55W 12,000K HID which was on the nasty side. I switched it to a set of 100w LED bulbs to compensate for the darkness. On a bright, sunny day, the inside of the headlight is not visible. If you don't already have really bright headlights; You probably don't want to drive at night. When all was said and done, everything went well. It's a little hard to see when it rains heavily at night. Most nights when it's not raining you can see very well.
