Description of 🔳 Premium VViViD Air-Tint Matte Black Headlight/Tail Light Window Tint - Large Roll (17.98 Inch x 60 Inch)

VVIVID Air-Tints are an industry first: a headlight/taillight tint with all of the technologies developed in VVIVID+ premium materials. They include an air-release membrane which allows you to install the tint dry ( without installation liquid ) Ready to use out of the box!. This is the only film on the market that can wrap ANY SHAPE. It is super conformable with heat. It was originally manufactured for hard-to-wrap surfaces, but the ease of install has professionals saving time on any headlight shape. This film is also self healing and scratches will go away with heat! Simply cut the vinyl to shape, and apply it to the surface. To make the vinyl conform to curves, simply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer, stretch and apply. Lastly, using a sharp blade, trim away excess from the headlight and you're done! its literally that simple!. Made with scratch-resistant automotive grade cast vinyl, VVIVID Air-Tints were developed in Canada to reduce the risk of shrinkage and peeling almost completely! The adhesive is acrylic based which will not eat through plastic like other tints on the market. It is 100% chemical safe, and will not eat through headlight coatings or damage your lights. NOTE: MAKE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR HEADLIGHT TINTS - THIS PRE-CUT SHEET IS 17.9" x 60".

Good product dark shade

Product fit well, over stretching gives it a shiny appearance but had plenty of room to work beforehand. This will turn any luminous flux into a soft bulb. I have LED bulbs in my car so there is no light anymore, my low beams seemed like daytime running lights. A good product.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Heat the gun and stretch it a little.

I have very little experience with these things, I find them difficult to cover with a taillight. This is for a few tries. But they turned out pretty good. The very first thing I did was my white pickup. Ez die. But I took mine off to do it in the comfort of a warm home. The only brand of vinyl I bought is my bow ties and some small furnishings.

  • Quality construction

Frosted? Or glitter?

First. it is not matt, has a very strong gloss. I have used other Vivid products but was very disappointed from the start. Ordered 18" x 60 and received 9 x 60 so my project was too short. It was fairly easy to store but when I stretched it became very brittle and luckily cracked right on the edge or headlight. Can do something do with texture idk

  • Outstanding Overall
Cons
  • Unreliable

Not exactly matte black.

I don't know how matt black is considered. Initially, I made the taillights black matte, but I did not like the quality of the film. So I wanted the same color but with this company because before that when I had high gloss it was a great film. However, a direct comparison reveals a sharp and negative color difference. I am very dissatisfied with this "matt black" and will not be using it. In the light it looks like shimmering silver.

  • nice thing

Good work. on lamps and lighting accessories

The film is thick and durable. The glue is strong. The film has a light texture and a non-reflective matte finish. I used it on a relatively flat lens surface. (I didn't cover the headlight lens) I tried fitting it around the edge of the lens but the material was too hard and didn't hold up well in the curves and corners. I was even able to crop the film around the edges of the lens so it worked well for my application. The film looks dark and slightly opaque, but lets a lot of light through…

Great product, good value for money, easy to install

I've never packed anything but if you have the patience it's easy. If you screw it up, it's pretty much forgivable, and you can fix it in most cases. Lots of videos on YouTube on application (KC Wrap is best). The front and fog lights, position and brake lights taped. Yes, it significantly reduces the brightness of the headlights, but turns the lights on as usual. I have standard headlights, just FYI. If you're concerned about brightness (safety before looks), get the smoked version of this…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not everything fits

OK but not for me and not exactly what the photos show

I bought this to dim the headlights, taillights and parking lights. I was hoping it would let in enough light from the headlights, but no such luck. After applying this to all the lights, I waited until it got dark and did a quick loop around the block. Even with the high beams on, my (usually very bright) headlights barely let me see clearly. However, the lights were still clearly visible when illuminated from outside. Returned home, removed the foil from the headlights and left it on the…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not the best

This stuff was a little trickier to install than vinyl for the body and smooth interior surfaces. If you have really curvy headlights, this might not be a good idea for a first-time install. You may be tempted to install dry. I gave it a try and then decided to do a wet install. The water between the lens and the film allows you to put it in place and then you can heat and stretch it by wiping away the water from under the film. Unlike the picture, this film is dark. When I installed this I had
