If you can't find the device (via esptool or otherwise), make sure the serial port driver is installed. On Windows, open Device Manager and make sure there are no unknown devices. If there is an unknown device, most likely the device driver for the serial adapter is not installed. To install the serial driver, go to the WEMOS website (search for "LOLIN D32 pro") and download and install the CH340 driver. In Device Manager, under "Ports (COM and LTP)" it should now say "USB-SERIAL CH340".
