Vehicle: 530xi (E60/N52). My car gave a "Load Error" warning which I traced back to the alternator. I ordered this, canceled (easy work for lathe operators) and haven't seen this warning in (2 weeks currently). I was initially concerned that the rated current for this part was 170A while the part I was replacing was said to be 180A (the voltages are the same of course) but that didn't seem to matter. My research has shown that the same part number applies to both E90 and E60 chassis fitted with N52 engines.
