Too small to hang on studs
This bracket is very strong but does not reach the attachment point. I used 2x4 to attach it to the wall. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of stoppers where the TV mounts hang on the bracket, the lightweight TV could slip and fall off. There is a screw on the underside of the brackets that secures the brackets to the bracket. You must screw them all the way in to prevent the TV from sliding off the mount. I installed a 55" 400x400 resolution TV and the brackets ended right on the edge of the bracket which I don't think is very secure.
