The TV mount is fully assembled and easy to install. Sturdy but very difficult to expand and fold. I have to take it out for a good viewing angle and slide it back when I'm done watching, and I have to strain to cross my arms properly. So it works, but it's not perfect.

I have installed about 5 of these units. It was child's play. It took less than an hour. Worked well in a small "alcove" next to a protruding fireplace. It has enough articulation to make it visible in any situation. The route map supplied is not very useful as a template, since the mounting hole areas cannot be easily removed. I used brackets as a template.

Unfortunately I waited until the return window was closed before installing this mount. This thing holds the TV, but the pan and tilt function is almost useless due to the fragility of the parts. Adjusting the position of the TV will literally bend the metal plates, making the TV not level, and these parts will most likely break soon. I would not recommend this one.

This bracket is very strong but does not reach the attachment point. I used 2x4 to attach it to the wall. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of stoppers where the TV mounts hang on the bracket, the lightweight TV could slip and fall off. There is a screw on the underside of the brackets that secures the brackets to the bracket. You must screw them all the way in to prevent the TV from sliding off the mount. I have installed several TV wall mounts over the years and have been very impressed with the quality of these. I mounted a 50 inch TV on a concrete wall. The TV only weighed around 28 pounds, so there were plenty of options, including vertical mounting with just two screws. I don't want the wall panel to be wider than necessary. Full Motion TV Wall Mount includes enough hardware to mount literally any type of TV on the market! The instructions were pretty good, but I wish they were printed on larger paper. The included level was a nice touch, but I didn't need it. I didn't have a proper drill (good thing Home Depot was close by), I would have preferred if they included a free drill instead of a level.
