My instrument panel glass was deeply scarred from a harsh chemical that was sprayed on it. I used the included 1500 grit sandpaper to sand everything down until they were gone and left the acrylic looking like a lost cause. Surprisingly, this product was actually able to restore it to near perfection. The key is deep and thorough grinding followed by multiple applications. I applied it liberally to the cloth provided and buffed hard until dry, then wiped with microfiber and rubbing alcohol. Repeat this process until it's almost perfect, then do one pass with very light pressure to get it really crystal clear. Overall it took about 30 minutes and 10-15 passes to get near perfection. $17 and 30 minutes is a lot less painful than a new $600 dashboard!
