Review on πŸŽ’ MeFOTO Backpacker S Lightweight Aluminum Travel Tripod/Monopod - Black (BPSABLK) by Sheila Smith

leg segments. best in set Tripods

It's ok if you really use it for hiking and weight is a concern. Otherwise, after about half a dozen leg segment lengthening and folding, they begin to fail and get stuck in any position. On one leg of my tripod, the smallest segment popped completely out of the camera, exposing a very cheap plastic stop that was supposed to keep it from falling out. The other segments will do the same I'm sure, because they get stuck I have to push them out which will eventually cause the segment to come loose. It's easy enough for day hikes and looks great, but that's about it. And as long as I don't lose a leg segment, it still works as a tripod.
