Sturdy quality tripod. The twist locks on the legs work well and are quick. You can easily learn to just take 2 or 3 for the height you need. Also two positions in angle/height. The center column slides out so you can raise it a bit higher (just be careful when the center is that high). I mainly use it for a camping tripod because the overall size is (usually) adequate, it's solid and feels solid (although I keep an eye on it in the wind), it's light and overall seems to have a quality finish…

Nice, compact and light tripod. If you are traveling or backpacking, this is a great option. It fit in my suitcase with no problems during a recent trip. Well made, feels like it will last a long time. I was able to get some great 30 second night shots with this tripod and the remote shutter release.
