leg segments. best in set Tripods

It's ok if you really use it for hiking and weight is a concern. Otherwise, after about half a dozen leg segment lengthening and folding, they begin to fail and get stuck in any position. On one leg of my tripod, the smallest segment popped completely out of the camera, exposing a very cheap plastic stop that was supposed to keep it from falling out. The other segments will do the same I'm sure, because they get stuck I have to push them out which will eventually cause the segment to comeโ€ฆ

Get him (or one of his siblings)! You will not be disappointed.

Sturdy quality tripod. The twist locks on the legs work well and are quick. You can easily learn to just take 2 or 3 for the height you need. Also two positions in angle/height. The center column slides out so you can raise it a bit higher (just be careful when the center is that high). I mainly use it for a camping tripod because the overall size is (usually) adequate, it's solid and feels solid (although I keep an eye on it in the wind), it's light and overall seems to have a quality finishโ€ฆ

Good compact best tripod included

Nice, compact and light tripod. If you are traveling or backpacking, this is a great option. It fit in my suitcase with no problems during a recent trip. Well made, feels like it will last a long time. I was able to get some great 30 second night shots with this tripod and the remote shutter release. I would definitely recommend this tripod as a travel/hiking tripod with limited use. As far as small travel tripods go, this is the best I've had. However, I wouldn't use it as a main tripod forโ€ฆ
