I was concerned that Linux Ubuntu would not recognize this drive and I would have to run all sorts of command line commands to mount etc. But that was not the case. When I connected it immediately showed up as an available drive. I've been using it for about a week now and all I can say is "THIS IS FAST". I've often had to visually verify that files are actually being transferred because I'm still getting used to the speed at which large video files or raw images are moved. I was also surprised at how small the block is. I'm sure its dimensions were listed in the description, but I wasn't interested. but it's a lot less than I expected. Very good!
