I ordered this drive for my PS3 which stopped reading discs and was making a terrible ejecting noise when trying to read discs. The delivery was very fast, arrived in less than 2 days. What I received was not a new disc. There were obvious scratches on the outside of the disc. After unplugging the logic board and installing the drive, it booted and was reading games normally in less than 24 hours. The first night I played Red Dead Redemption for about 2 hours. The next night I try to play it and surprisingly it doesn't read the disc and the eject sound comes back. It only works if I stand it upright with the disc down and support it that way. I'm assuming they recreated this piece of junk and sent it out before testing.
