My feet sweat at work, these socks are great at keeping my feet wet. They're soft yet durable, made from quality fabric with just the right amount of compression around the arch of the foot. Bought a second set. Fair price with high quality. I have a medium foot (but with broken little toes I like shoes with a wider toe). So I buy shoes in size 8 by 8 1/2. The socks fit perfectly: not too long and not too short, just the right size. I wash as usual; but don't overdry or overheat them to prevent them from shrinking and becoming less soft and fluffy. I don't know the recommendations to bleach them or not. I will not bleach them at the moment. Just in case. In the photos you can see my brand new socks versus the ones I wear/wash weekly. On the heel of my shoes there are small beads of softness and friction. But it peels off easily and leaving it as is is not inconvenient. I'm shopping for fabric paints and am considering testing a pair with paint to see if I can mix and match. When I do I will update. :)
