I have recently fitted chains to 3 different cars. It took 6 chains for each car. Some of the chains were bearish to be spliced or too loose when a whole link was added. It took both of us 45 minutes to connect one of the circuits (a very short section in a very small space). Later, during the rebuild, I found that the chain had to be removed to make some adjustments to the car. At that time I was looking for this tool and ordered it. I was able to reset the circuit by myself in 3 minutes. I consider the tool "paid" after a single use, but look forward to using it in the future.
