Ignore any manufacturer warranties currently listed for this item. I can confirm firsthand that they don't exist. I had an outage with my responsible Daily Driver a few months after the installation. I only contacted Timken to be informed that they do not process warranty claims and was told that I would have to attempt to return the product to the place of purchase. Yes, you understood correctly. Never in my life have I heard of a manufacturer refusing to give a guarantee on their products! Combine this with the inherent time/cost of replacing these parts and you have a recipe for very dissatisfied customers. Revane was very helpful to their credit and indicated that they were investigating. In the meantime, I will take appropriate steps with my legal/financial institutions to compensate for the loss of use/time/money related to this faulty and potentially dangerous product. Bottom line, if you enjoy the prospect of wasting your time/money and risking your safety with these potentially dangerous bearings without absolute manufacturer support, I strongly recommend avoiding this (or any other) Timken product.
