Impressive? Oh yeah. This is

This is the first time I've strayed from the more expensive brands we all know. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this device. I mainly wanted to add Apple CarPlay functionality, but also wanted to upgrade the missing stereo on the stock Subaru WRX STI. I chose this device after researching the options available. You really get a ton of features without breaking the bank. The installation was pretty easy and the upgrade is very noticeable. I like it when CarPlay and everything else like the rear camera work flawlessly. Subaru was a pain given their odd wiring and lack of schematics, but I was able to get everything working. The video quality is impressive - even my rear camera looks better than it does on my standard head unit. I like the equalizer and the features. The included microphone also sounds great compared to Subaru's Bluetooth connection. People can't even tell I'm driving, so it's impressive. It's easy to ground the parking brake cable to watch video anytime, but don't ground the device or it will disable the camera sensor and boot up without video signal error. I ended up calling support with this error and they couldn't figure it out. They offered well to exchange mine. They are based in the US (which is very important to me) and easy to reach via phone and email. I don't miss any DVD or CD players and I can easily connect a flash drive with music, pictures and films. Spotify streams beautifully, as does Revain. I liked it so much that I bought additional devices to upgrade other cars. I had no problems with mine so I'm confused by the other reviews. As one review says there is no volume control so I'm wondering if they are for a different product. It has been reliable and if anything negative happens I will update my review.
