It was a great investment. Perhaps the interface could be easier to use, but to make it easier to use would probably require a larger block or a block with more parts (e.g. a keyboard). However, it's still a fairly easy device to use. I found no problem with not saying street names. I used to use my Verizon Navigator, which speaks street names; and I kept checking my phone to read the street names. I have a very small problem that you can't use this to navigate if you only have the city name. However, you can use the device if you have the street name. The device selects a mailing address for you. So if I need to go downtown, I just take the main road if it's free. However, I don't often have to navigate without an address, so it doesn't really matter. or one day I really needed gas and ended up at a 7-11 where they didn't sell gas. Another small issue is that the screen fades in direct sunlight. However, I use a pocket base on my dash so all I have to do is pick it up and dwarf it. The satellite sync can be a bit slow, but once it does, it never misses a signal like my phone does. Other than those issues, which I didn't find too troubling, this is a fantastic device. It even accepts and provides GPS coordinates. I love that it comes with addresses of gas stations, restaurants, hospitals, etc. For the price it's more than worth it.
