Not quiet, but good enough!
I bought this because my work laptop has terrible sound, very very loud sound. This solved the problem, but there is still some digital audio noise. You need to turn off 50% of the microphone in Windows settings or people will hear a constant high-pitched beep from you in meetings. With a normal line out it's pretty quiet, not exactly quiet but good enough. Great for the price.
