Update #2 After a few emails to Proven Industries I found out that this unit does indeed have the latest washer lock and appears to have an updated key/lock (no key). Checked my account. The inner/outer case is great. Fits my hitch and stores my chains perfectly. However, the day after I received this highly acclaimed trailer lock, I watched a video of someone drilling through a soft washer and opening it in 30 seconds! Do not use the lock washer that comes with the kit. Invest in a hardened steel washer instead or you'll get a false sense of security with this lock! Notice to Proven Industries. Why on earth would you design your puck to be so easy to crack when you otherwise clearly have/had the best solution out there? Please your customers. I had to spend an additional $110 for a hardened steel washer.
