Fan requires capacitor

My ceiling fan hasn't changed speed in 10 years. I put it off because I thought it would be difficult to solve the problem. In fact, he stumbled around for a while. Then I did a little research and found that if replacing the switch doesn't help, a capacitor would do the trick. Since I had already changed the switch at the end of last year, I decided to replace the capacitor. After getting the part number from the old one, I found my new one on this site. Finally the problem solved. So lesson learned: if your ceiling fan doesn't change speed when you "change" the speed setting with the switch,
