So I've only had them for about a week. No issues with removing the handle (as stated by other reviews). You really need to put some pressure on the treatment as you turn it on and off and switch between temperatures too. However, I think it's a good idea so you don't accidentally do something. Still, I love this rug. My desk is aligned with the outside wall of my house and my feet were always cold, this solved this problem. Different temperatures are ideal and I rarely use the hottest one as sometimes it gets too hot. My feet stay nice and comfortable all day, which is what I was hoping for. I have no complaints just a great tool that does the job! If you're looking for something to keep your feet warm at your desk, look no further!
