Review on CW X Standard Endurance Generator Compression Sports & Fitness and Other Sports by Jeff Callier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Expensive but worth it (with one caveat)

I have just been diagnosed with Ehler Dahlo Syndrome after having suffered with pain my whole life for unknown reasons. I've been sick for so long and have been for 52 years! I've been using Kinesiology Tape for years and spending stupid money on it. I also wear compression stockings, sleeves, fingerless gloves and tops, and when it's cool I wear running and yoga leggings under my clothes or as leggings when it's warm. It suddenly occurred to me that there HAD to be proper compression pants, but I decided none of them would fit me since I'm only 5ft 1in and 103lbs. Then I found this one. Hallelujah! THEY FIT! When I first put them on, I fell asleep in the midst of a horrible aggravation within fifteen minutes as relaxation and relief flooded through my body. You are unbelievable. If you have chronic joint or muscle pain, especially if you are small and petite, this is a MUST HAVE. The price is very high and I've read that they don't last too long, but ok. I'll beg or borrow for more when I go broke! ABOUT SIZING: Please refer to the manufacturer's size chart, not reviews, when you buy them for pain relief. I bought the small size first and they were a bit loose in the calves (although I don't have skinny calves despite my weight). I contacted the company and they told me that I am definitely very small. I see people who weigh about 110 pounds and say they're average weight and they're fine, so I decided a small one would suit me. Not like that, but it was good enough. XS is perfect. The waist is a little tight, but that's not a problem. I pulled the tip out (as did everyone else). This is completely unnecessary. I want the price to go down. I don't even spend that much on shoes, and I'm fairly handicapped due to the severity of my EDS (and other chronic health issues). I am sure there are many people who would benefit from this product but cannot even afford it. Too bad it's not covered by insurance, but even my post-mastectomy lymphedema compression sleeves aren't covered. . anyway. I love them and yes they may be too short for most American women. But there are little people! Especially those who wear XS. So please (PLEASE) do nothing to alter this product or its length! I will be heartbroken. I would consider buying twenty pairs of these just in case, but simply paying for them (and a couple of their Stabilyx for less pain days and a compression top) got me over my basic spending limit for a while. Thank you, CW-X. That will make a big difference in my life. I could cry with joy! Added: I bought my original pair from Revain but they were too big so I ordered direct from the company as Revain couldn't provide a replacement quickly and I was dying to wear them (I have them now and feel MUCH better! ). a little problem with them but i sent a polite email saying how much i love their product. The first reply letter from them was frankly rude. It is sad to realize that the product I am so excited about is not a company I am completely satisfied with. If you look at reviews of CW-X products, you'll see that many of the rave reviews are from people with Hypermobility and/or ED. I checked out their website product "Ambassadors" - all super healthy athletes. I suspect this company doesn't want to be associated with people with health issues. This lack of performance infuriates me and I wish I could give them a star, but I'm delighted with this and another legging I got from them so I'm deducting a star for this edition. But it annoys me that I will definitely spend more money on this company's products. I had what we disabled people are only shown when we can excel at things like Special Olympics, do things that healthy people do (and less well), when we can excel at a million things. It doesn't look like we have cooties! And these leggings would do so much for chronic pain! It's a shame.
