I used to use a cast iron manual grinder. It rusted every time I washed it, although I tried to dry it as best I could after washing. Next time I take it out, it will be rusty again. I am very thankful that I have a grinder with stainless steel parts so I don't have to worry about the food I'm grinding tasting rusty. This Cheffano coffee grinder is very easy to assemble, disassemble and easy to clean. I didn't have any meat to grind yet so I chopped up some apples for an apple pie to see how it works. I love it! Thank you for this great product.
