I discovered Nako yarn for myself recently, I already managed to knit a cardigan from the "Super Inci" series for myself and was surprised how different it was, in a good sense of the word, compared to the yarn I had already tested. So the cotton yarn of this brand did not leave anyone indifferent. First of all, I liked the color. Yellow, juicy, with a small redhead, like the sun. Not surprisingly, looking at this brightness, I wanted to knit something summery, beautiful and eye-catching. Composition -100% cotton "Giza". This type of cotton is grown in Egypt and compared to other cotton has a special softness and breathability. Feels, indeed, not at all like a classic cotton hank, much better. The footage of the hank is not very large and for one small product for myself, it took five pieces. The consumption is significant, but it turns out beautifully and is worn with pleasure. Recommendations for tools: hooks 2.5 (although I knitted with a crochet No. 1.5, so that it was tighter and the linen did not shine through). On the needles recommendations from 3 to 3.5. I can’t say anything about knitting needles, I didn’t knit on them. Care for the product is gentle - a temperature of 30 degrees and ironing at a low temperature. After washing, the product shrinks a little, keep this in mind. Cotton is very soft, delicate, not hard, it will definitely not stand with a stake. The thread is not twisted, as is the case with other cotton. The twist is loose and often because of this there are difficulties in knitting when the hook starts to catch one of the threads. On the other hand, the product itself is soft, pliable and pleasant to the body. Mercerized cotton is coarse in this regard, unlike ordinary cotton yarn. Openworks from this yarn come out excellent. However, a flat canvas will look good. In general, the feeling of working with this yarn is only positive. Yes, it is not classic, sometimes difficult, but the color, softness and how the pattern fits smooth out all the flaws. Nako yarn has become a discovery for me and, so far, my favorite. I will try other series. I recommend to buy!
