I had a lot of fun doing my first cross stitch. I think it turned out really nice. My only mistake was that I used 3 threads when sewing in reverse (contours) instead of 2 as recommended. This meant I ran out of thread to circle all the stems and leaves. I will be purchasing more and hopefully be able to adjust the color to complete the project. The instructions were easy to follow. The material is very stiff, so no brackets or similar are needed. This is a beautiful project that is great for patient beginners. This is not a quick 1 or 2 hour project. It will take several days to finish. Enjoy! updated: I've also added a picture of the finished product. The extra thread I got doesn't match perfectly, but you have to look very closely to notice. When you're done, just rinse with warm water for a while and any stains on the fabric will be washed off immediately.
