Decent set, especially for beginners. As already mentioned, it smells strongly of plastic/chemicals. I've had a bag for a few days now and it seems to be improving. As mentioned earlier, roving is definitely a pattern of every color. You can create a small animal from one color. If you use multiple colors in the same project, you will get more of them. However, I'm not a big fan of wool. I didn't like working with it - it wasn't the smooth, easy-to-felt fur I was used to. I've included photos of the fur used - I made the gnome entirely from this set (used most of the gray and white for this little guy); the bear is made of different wool, but the yellow belly and underside of the paws were from this kit. The included tools are decent; The clippers are not of high quality and do not align properly unless I fix them manually.
