Review on πŸ”₯ Forney 55672 Bandit III Flip Front Welding Helmet - Shade-10, Black: A Reliable Protective Gear for Welders by Jake Pavelko

Worked as expected, best in PPE

I wanted the cheapest welding helmet with a large viewing window. I read the reviews and decided to buy this helmet. The helmet has to stay down. The dark glass can be lifted to see what you're doing. I found that it didn't fully close unless pressed, as if the spring wasn't strong enough for the last millimeter needed to create a light-tight seal. it didn't matter much as long as I didn't move too much. The headband was soaked in sweat after about 5 minutes of welding, and I found that I turned the headband's mounting screw to tighten it one click every 5 minutes, as if it would somehow loosen. I've only had a 30 minute weld and may never use a helmet again, so this is a great helmet for someone who only needs to use it a couple of times a year. I wouldn't use this helmet if I had to weld more than a few minutes a week just comes in handy but for me it was worth it. I think it might be too difficult and frustrating for a beginner to want to learn to weld. In my opinion, the reviews of others were very accurate.
