No, I wouldn't do it again.

You get what you pay for, you don't get much here! My wife is learning how to weld on the farm and she is fine with it. I've cooked for forty years and I don't care in this area. Thin cheap piece of shit!

Good DIY helmet

I do a bit of welding with a flux welding machine. I just needed something to protect my eyes but didn't want anything too expensive or big/chunky. It was the perfect choice. The best part is the flip up lens. This makes everything easy to arrange.

  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Worth the price. good as head protection

Not hot weather, field welding hood It's a great idea to have 2 helmets in one, but the extra weight prevents it from staying over your head when you're not welding or cut. So if you have to yell at someone because they're on the phone, you need to get it out of your head. start screaming

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fading effect

Keeps falling off when you're not welding!

As everyone says. With the slightest movement, it flies in your face. This can and has changed, you shouldn't! Mine now falls at a nice, steady, controlled speed. They say you should only use the lens tilt function instead of tilting the mask itself. Serious! this is not possible with large, heavy welding gloves!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good idea, bad execution

I would put a minus. Good idea but bad implementation. As others have mentioned, lifting the helmet over your head is very heavy (unbalanced). There is no effective way to keep him in this position; He falls back on your face. If you try to tighten the side handles to hold the hood up you will eventually rip off the plastic strings and of course it's game over for a properly working hood. Additionally, its simple tensioning mechanism (although the plastic threads remain intact) prevents a heavy

awesome weekend welding helmet

I'm not a professional welder - I just enjoy welding my own stuff, repairing, assembling etc. My 40 year old helmet was having swollen guts and for the last few welds I've had to put it in hold one hand and weld with the other. When this new helmet arrived I was delighted to say the least. Easy to set up, love the flip up lens, the clear lens allows you to leave the helmet on your head to get a new rod, move your work, change your position and. Mesh and chip without switching to glasses. If…

Worked as expected, best in PPE

I wanted the cheapest welding helmet with a large viewing window. I read the reviews and decided to buy this helmet. The helmet has to stay down. The dark glass can be lifted to see what you're doing. I found that it didn't fully close unless pressed, as if the spring wasn't strong enough for the last millimeter needed to create a light-tight seal. it didn't matter much as long as I didn't move too much. The headband was soaked in sweat after about 5 minutes of welding, and I found that I…
