Just got my new acetylene regulator. It looks like it is very well built. Mounted on tank and hoses. When I opened the fuel tank tap, I felt a leak. I removed the regulator and reinstalled it on the tank and hose fittings using yellow teflon tape. It also smelled of acetylene. I did a soapy water test on all the connection points and the regulator. There are no bubbles anywhere. Should I remove the pressure adjustment knob and pour soapy water down this hole? Other comments: fast shipping to my Alaska location. Any advice on a possible regulator leak?
