I purchased this item because my modem couldn't cover the full house well enough. I set this up by connecting the ethernet line from the modem directly to the TP-Link router. Setup was easy and quick. With an upload/download speed of 150MB, there are no bottlenecks or slowdowns. We can broadcast HD video according to your needs and expectations. This is a good buy at a reasonable price. Update May 2018: The router is still working. It survived several power outages and went back online without restarting. The signal is strong, none of our devices have connection problems. Most of the devices we use connect to this router faster than my service provider's modem. This product has been a great purchase for us.
