So far so good. I installed them easily and quickly. I stamped the edges and corners so each piece is down. We installed them in our rented location which we just completed. I will update the review in 6 months after we see how they hold up. They lie down and cling to the surface. No tape or glue. The grip material (below) is similar to what you use to press the rug onto a smooth floor to keep it from moving. The protective plastic backing is difficult to remove, but if you use a piece of tape to grab a corner it will come off. The material is like a wool rug that I would put next to the door as an entrance rug (not for the course). It's not too rough and feels good barefoot. Famous last words, we'll see.
