Worked after changing the spring on the ratchet brake. Mine was probably returned by the buyer as it arrived in a newly taped box with the cable coiled loosely to clamp the cable onto itself and coiled back which is really hard to believe. Since I didn't have time I couldn't wait for a replacement so I had to get it working. There's nothing more annoying than paying for something that's advertised as new and turns out not to be new, and then wasting time trying to fix it to make it work. Avoid. Spend 10€ more and buy something better.
