Review on E3D Prusa MK3 MK3S HotEnd by Mark Walsh

If you have a Prusa you have to assume that you will need a replacement hotend at some point. The factory warranty costs absolutely nothing and is not available for the 3s+ hotend. My printer suddenly had a problem with one good print to another failing. The thread feed gears made an excessive click. I tried my best to clean the system but couldn't. It took Prusa two weeks of emails that ended up with nothing but useless cleaning tips. I would have just gone with a new hotend from the start if it was available and I never checked Amazon to see if it was in stock until it was too late. If you're in the same boat, just save yourself the pain and waste your time and order this one. Assembly was very easy and it was a replacement for my printer. I also like the fact that it comes with a collet as my original didn't have one. Now for the people who are complaining and leaving negative feedback because they didn't receive the PTFE tube, be serious. Not only should you have the old PTFE hose, you should also have a replacement. Stop leaving negative reviews for a product that works very well.
