I "played" with small engine repairs at first. I was repairing an old engine that had a rusty pulley/stuck to the crankshaft. After spending a good hour bonding and not making any progress, I removed it. I decided to try jaw pullers before damaging the pulley. I was hesitant to go with this set of three pullers rather than a "professional" puller. A set arrived, a large one assembled in two minutes. The hardest part was drilling a test puncture in the bolt (the drill was trying to "move away" from the center all the time). After soaking in some liquid wrench I used a puller and it worked like a charm. Having the right tools makes the job a lot easier; even"cheap" version. I might upgrade to the $80 version later, but I'll never regret it. Already paid for the whole package.
