This Dremel workstation is amazing. I am fortunate to have two Dremel rotary tools, one of which is a 25 year old Craftsman brand. This old model is for the workplace in the drill part. Following the fitting instructions, I find it very stable as a drill, but I also like the ability to rotate it 90 degrees to use as a grinder and grinder. You need to follow some simple drill press rules, such as: When using small chisels, even my large drill will "wander" if the drill is not centered with a punch. So buy a good quality (Starrett) small center punch (1/16 inch) and your life will be a lot easier. Also buy a small drill vise to secure your work. My new Dremel 4000 hangs on the workstation bracket. and has a flexible shaft attached to it. It is then also available away from the workplace without dismantling. Have a key ready. Plus, having bits, stones, grinding wheels on hand really saves time. It's a very versatile addition to my desk!
