Poor Design - my new review

Light pad has dotted "eye protective" inner surface that blocks light to the point that even the highest setting will not allow the drawing to show through to be traced when using the provided cardstock flipbook pages. The pages are great, and perfect thickness for smooth flipping action. The light will work with regular paper, but trying to make a flipbook with thin paper would not function properly either. There is no way to remove the dotted surface from the sealed light pad. Also note: Directions are not provided in English. Disappointed.
