Jeep Liberty 2 Dash Kit

Bracket for installed Pioneer head unit was installed Although the hole allows for it, only a recessed head unit needs to be fitted. The antenna adapter works, although once installed it appears impossible to remove. The bad list is too long. There were absolutely no instructions included with the custom assembly of the Jeep Liberty Dash Bezel parts with premium wiring harness. It was completely devoid of printed material. Upon request, the instructions were sent via iPhone so they didn't show up in my Mail app. Finally, when they were mistreated, the attached Word document contained malformed images from Photobucket. The text on the images has been truncated on the right-hand side, making them illegible. There was no PDF file, the seller claimed, and the attached txt file didn't even remotely match the premium wiring harness. (The premium kit includes RCA connectors, and the txt file was for solder connections.) To make matters worse, this harness will not even work with a system that doesn't have an external preamp. To complete the job it was necessary to get a Scosche wire harness kit. The ugliness lies in either the seller's lack or very limited knowledge of fitting a standard head unit in this car. Instructions in the wrong format were totally unsuitable for the task. In fact, the entire factory radio mount needs to be removed from the bottom, back and top of the opening where the new 2-DIN radio goes in. Pioneer units (and many others) are too long to mount with this dash trim without removing the glued bracket that attaches to the molded channels under the dash. It would be easy to damage the air ducts by tearing the adhesive seam holding this support bracket. It is not mentioned in the restricted instructions. Due to the shape of this panel, the main unit must be recessed in relation to the front of the panel. This requires additional rear room to allow for a fit that requires the complete removal of the factory mounts. Side brackets may be left in place contrary to installation instructions. All in all, there are equally good or better solutions here at Revain for installing a 2DIN head unit in a Jeep Liberty 02-07 and they are all cheaper. . If I had to do this task again, I would go somewhere else. It wasn't a good buy.
