I love this system! - Tool holster

This was by far my favorite way of carrying tools while on the job. This makes the tool VERY quick and easy to put on and take off your belt. I bought a quad kit and used most of it. In fact, I've found that most of the time I just clip the clip to my belt in case I need to grab my drum kit at some point during the day. I know it seems a little crazy but now quarantine we're all crazy. I had no trouble getting tools in and out of the clamp. And when I'm moving a ton, it's good to know that the latch will hold the tool in place. It has never slipped out of my hand like other tool holders. The bit holders, which I first considered a silly throw-in, are now perhaps my favorite part of the kit. I absolutely LOVE these things. I pop two of these into my DeWalt impact wrench and have all six slots loaded with the 6 bits I use the most. I gave this system 5 stars and support it. That doesn't mean there are things I don't like. They just aren't enough to stop me from fully loving this system. But here they are: -"Open" mechanism just won't stand still. There is a lever that you lift to release the tool and if you pull it all the way it probably gets stuck there and now you can toggle the tool on and off and it won't lock. I love this feature when I'm doing something where I need an exercise in quick succession. I also like it when I'm just taking measurements and want to quickly put on and take off a tape measure with a clip. But the mechanism locks SUPER easily, so this feature is essentially useless. I hope they fix this in the future. I wouldn't mind an unblocked clip at all (they could have given it a different color to track or something). Bit holders that I adore are advertised as holding up to 6 bits per unit as long as they are short that you put in an extension bit. Yes, it's technically possible, and I've been doing it for a while, but I found these parts to fall out too easily. Now I only keep full size beats in these sleeves so there are 3 of them in each block. I just put two of these on a drill and then I have six bits again :) - while I like the design, I have to say that the tools on you wobble a bit and rotate in awkward positions. Sometimes when your practice has a beat, it causes you to poke around a bit. It's not the end of the world, but it's a minor annoyance. I've strapped heavier tools but of course found that there is a limit. It's not for anything heavier than a puncher, to be honest. I have straps on my drill press, a screwdriver and a cord stapler that I use and the last one is the heaviest I use. I tried it once on a cordless nailer and found it too heavy for my belt and pants to comfortably hold. That's all! I love this system and can only recommend it.

Cons
  • Good but not great
