I've had mixed experiences with this product. I found a youtube video explaining how to replace the product which helped a lot. After some mishaps with the parts, I found the following: 1. The original design is flawed, causing the parts to fail regularly, usually at inconvenient times e.g. B. during a rainstorm. The reels are cheap so I advise you to have a spare set on hand.2. Do not remove pins. Large lavash for spare.3. Although the instructions don't tell you, you MUST lubricate the parts for the window to work properly. I used Super Lube 21030 (NLGI 2) synthetic lube in a 3 oz tube and lubricated the inside of the roller bushing prior to assembly with the adjuster and also lubricated the rail. Since then I haven't had any problems for several months.4. Search Google for videos on You Tube, it makes things a lot easier. 3 stars for imperfect design. I can't fix it.
