I actually bought this to overhaul my dockside cargo pump. and to my surprise I replaced the parts with new ones (of a different brand) to fit there and everything works! A little ingenuity, plumber's lube and a few swear words and it worked! The only thing I have to say about these pumps is that if they run dry for 2 seconds the seal will be destroyed and leak. Take special care that the inlet hose does not accidentally come out of the water supply at any time. At least that is my expierience.
