Review on 🦈 Gold/Silver Shark Upright & Canister Vacuum Cleaner by Heather Rodriguez

Overall it seems to be a very good vacuum cleaner, not too noisy, with good suction, good manoeuvrability, good big container, in short really a winner. BUT. A small, short, flexible hose that comes out at the bottom and attaches to the underside of the pipe area to provide a continuous path for airflow has two small protrusions, one on each side, that should each protrude from the plastic tab and lock into the corresponding recesses on the underside of the handle. I've seen many products with similar designs and generally they work quite well. The ones on this machine are COMPLETELY USELESS. I've tried bending the small tabs a little to get the tabs pushed into the slots with more force, but nothing seems to work. This is the ugliest design I've seen in a long time. I put everything together with the duct tape, but any manufacturer that allows this kind of crappy design doesn't deserve more than one star, even if the rest of the car seems fine. One of the protrusions can be seen in the attached image, which also shows the bottom portion just falling out. Customer service was good as they offered to replace the machine but that would have meant taking it apart again and repackaging it properly. by delivering it to a local UPS location which is only open 2 hours in the afternoon 3 days a week in our small town. I decided to just seal the damn thing rather than get into a routine, but I want to clarify that they made an offer. They would NOT just send me a new part.
