I bought the same jacket a few years ago. The outer nylon is much thinner and lighter (lower overall quality). Faux fur is "more artificial". A cheap velor inner fabric is sewn into the hood, which is silvery at the back of the neck. A zipper made of an odd material probably won't last more than a few months with moderate to heavy use I paid about double what I paid a few years ago for making an inferior product Note that I bought a cheaper version, I returned for this item. The cheaper version has about 40% less weight and definitely lower quality materials.
