    Very warm new review

    My weight is 5.10 174 lbs and I had to return size M as it was too big for me. In the end I took the size S, it fit perfectly. Very warm at -10F in Chicago.

    I love the style and comfort of the coat. The price is a little lower than what could be estimated from the cost. People notice the coat and ask me where I got it and expect it to be expensive.

    warm jacket but lousy zipper

    This jacket is ideal for very cold and rainy weather. The zipper on this jacket sucks, but luckily there are buttons so you don't have to fasten it.

    This coat will definitely keep my nephew warm this winter, this coat was so heavy it looked very nice too. Gotta get my son one now.

    Almost, but not quite

    I really wanted to like this coat. I'm 5-10 years old, height 180, athletic build, average figure is perfect. There's only room for a base layer and a light sweater, but the jacket feels so warm that I don't need anything else (for northwest winters). Problems: The zipper is made of cheap plastic and doesn't close well. It took 2-3 minutes to get it working. I could live with that and even replace it for the $100 the jacket cost me. But not with a hood. It is so big that together with the fur…

    closed inside out for men

    The jacket is warm enough to satisfy me but it closes on the wrong side of a men's jacket and the hood is too big but I can't wear a sweatshirt under the jacket and close it. If you plan on layering, buy more than you need, at least one size larger. I love the warmth of the jacket and that's the only reason it gets 3 stars. I didn't like the fit or the back zipper.

    Good product in my review.

    The Great Jack was a bit tight in my arms, but I'm athletically built so that's a common problem for me. The quality of the jacket was excellent, you can tell it is very warm and overall a good product.

    Works a little less

    The coat is very warm and windproof. I would say order a size up. I got the XL for my son who is no taller than his eldest, upper arms are not as wide as I would like. My son loves this coat and says he is so warm in it but it has been very cold this year.

    Warm, no garbage bag

    He's nice and plump without making me look like a giant garbage bag. Big, smooth, plump if you like. Nice and warm, seems wind and water resistant.

    Excellent winter coat in my review

    This coat is too beautiful for the price. It's very warm and comfortable. I almost can't believe the quality considering how cheap it is. It's a little baggy at the waist/bust so keep that in mind. Paired with a sweatshirt or layers, it goes together beautifully. I'm 6'3, 200lbs and the large fits well.

    Back zipper too small

    It was very small for very large and the zip was reversed to regular why did you reverse the coat division on this coat. It was obviously not the right size, too small

    It's not as windproof as my old Air Force jacket. Great on a windless day, good on a windy day but I feel strong gusts of wind.

    Excellent jacket in my review

    A very good winter jacket for the price. Keeps me warm during very cold and harsh New England winters. Well made and stylish. The only problem is that the zipper is on the left side and doesn't always close quickly either, which can delay putting the jacket on and off. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars.

    Not the same quality as before

    I bought the same jacket a few years ago. The outer nylon is much thinner and lighter (lower overall quality). Faux fur is "more artificial". A cheap velor inner fabric is sewn into the hood, which is silvery at the back of the neck. A zipper made of an odd material probably won't last more than a few months with moderate to heavy use I paid about double what I paid a few years ago for making an inferior product Note that I bought a cheaper version, I returned for this item.     In general the coat fits well. It's VERY warm and comfortable; In any case, it's going to be hot for anything but freezing temperatures. The real problem, as other reviewers have pointed out, is the hood and zipper. The zipper is very disappointing and takes a few minutes to get back in place to close. The hood is a few sizes bigger and doesn't seem to be designed to be worn over the head, but rather decorative. When I wear a bike helmet, the hood still falls over my eyes and blocks my view…

    First impression: I like it very much. It fits my 5ft 10in / 173lb frame perfectly. It may be style, but the hood is low. As if I could stick another big head in here.     In general, for the price, the coat is mostly satisfactory. There are others for a lower price but this quality was good and there are a few positives that set it apart from others I've tried. The pockets are large and the button closures make it easy to use with gloves. The zip flap, a nice addition for warmth, also snaps into place.
