My Jeep 4.7L HO lost the valve seat and I decided to disassemble it myself. It works great when the pistons are in the right position. Reviewers with broken parts likely hit the pistons. Even with the rear cylinder extension, it only requires a few pounds of pressure per key. The left bank should have cylinder 1 at top dead center of the compression stroke to remove the valves of cylinders #2 and #8, then cylinder 3 at top dead center of the compression stroke for valves #4 and #6. A compression gauge will be used prove useful. In any other position, the valves hit the pistons and do not move. The price jumps from 28 to 48 so be careful.
