2. UPDATE After talking to the manufacturer and a bit of trial and error, I finally managed to get this to work almost perfectly. I recommend using a MagSafe-certified case and a USB-C to USB-C cable instead of the included cable. Charging is much more reliable and the MagSafe case is more than acceptable. UPDATE Although the MagSafe case (Nomad Rugged) has a much better grip, I lost my wireless charging. It's by no means an overly thick case. It only blinks between charging and shutting down, and even if nothing works for me, my battery is draining. There was also a bit of rotation during the 1.5 hour ride, but it was negligible. This reduced my original rating from 4 to 3 stars. ORIGINAL. If you have a bare iPhone 12 Pro Max I do not recommend this product (or possibly a similar product). I used it without a case for about a mile before I hit a small bump and my phone fell off like a brick. The phone also rotated about 90° for about 2 miles. My MagSafe case arrived today and it's the difference between day and night. There is no more random rotation and my phone holds up even when driving on bumpy roads.
